The Freckled Flower Farm
The farm is nestled alongside a pine forest in beautiful Hanover County and dates to 1740. Family-owned, it was once part of ‘Little Garden’, the homestead of co-owner Sara Mallory’s grandmother. This very farmland sits adjacent to the Waldrop family farm, owned by Kelly Waldrop's family, the other co-owner of The Freckled Flower Farm.
Now a thriving flower farm, Sara and Kelly love knowing their business grows on the land they ran on barefoot as children playing in the country.

The Gardener Nursey
We are a family owned nursery and landscaping business in the Short Pump area of Richmond, Virginia. For three generations, we have worked to grow quality plants and create timeless landscapes.
In our nursery, we grow our plants root first. While this method is a little slower, it allows each plant to strengthen so we can give you the best plant available. This also ensures your plant will thrive in our region if planted and maintained properly.
While we specialize in boxwood and azalea, we also grow and supply many other shrubs, trees and perennials used in the Mid-Atlantic landscape.
When it comes to landscapes, we believe they should last for decades and add value as they age. A good landscape design that is well implemented should provide both gratification and a positive return on investment. The Bachelor in Fine Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University set my course in photography. Previously my love was painting and sculpture.
I have worked with advertising agencies, portrait studios and multimedia
production companies in Richmond, Virginia for over 25 years.
I teach digital photography at different locations, belong to Art Works in Richmond, VA
and participate in art and craft shows.
Although staying busy as a portrait, and event photographer, I love
spending time at my home in the country and the surrounding Virginia landscape searching for the perfect
scene to capture.
When on the job, in addition to capturing the required images, my goal is to
bring the creative touch to every project.
