The Goochland Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that we are now accepting nominations for a variety of local awards that recognize members for their efforts to support the Chamber and the Goochland community. The winners will be recognized at the Goochland Chamber Annual Member Celebration.
Small Business of the Year Award
1. Nominee must be a member in good standing with the Goochland Chamber of Commerce.
2. Nominee must have been in business for at least 3 years.
3. Nominee must have 50 or fewer employees.
4. Nominee must be an independently-owned business.
5. Nominee must have demonstrated significant involvement with the Chamber and one or more of the following characteristics:
Revenue growth and/or job growth.
Innovative products or services
Provides exemplary customer service
Encourages and provides professional development of staff.
Who can nominate?
Anyone can nominate a member business, or you can nominate your own business. The Chamber reserves the right to request two letters of reference from a third party.
Woman Business Leader of the Year Award
1. Nominee must be employed by a member in good standing with the Goochland Chamber of Commerce.
2. Nominee must have been employed with the above member for at least 1 year.
3. Nominee must have demonstrated one or more of the following:
Significant involvement in the Goochland Chamber.
Professional growth in her chosen career.
Commitment to serving the community.
Willingness to support and serve other businesses as a mentor.

Young Professional of the Year Award
- Nominee must be employed by a member in good standing with the Goochland Chamber of Commerce.
- Nominee must have been employed with the above member for at least 1 year.
- Nominee must have demonstrated one or more of the following:
Significant involvement in the Goochland Chamber.
Professional growth in chosen career.
Commitment to serving the community.
