During the month of November there is Black Friday (#blackfriday), Shop Small Saturday (#shopsmall), and Cyber Monday (#cybermonday).  Goochland County Chamber of Commerce offers marketing opportunities for these three events and has Shop Small Saturday in store marketing material that we share with our members.  Did you know about Giving Tuesday (#givingtuesday)?  It started in 2012 by the 92nd Street Y and the United Nations Foundation as a response to comemercialization and consumerism in the post-Thanksgiving season.  They have created a website where you can register your non profit, download a free marketing kit, and learn how to create a #mygivingstory to win up to $10,000 for your non profit.  Visit www.givingtuesday.org for more information.

Every Monday you will see an email from us, if you subscribed to our mailing list, that will give you a list of all Goochland Chamber Member Non Profit Organizations that are Community Drivin.  Each email will give you the contact information for 3 to 4 of these organizations.  We will also be highlighting them via our Social Media platform throughout the month.
